Enjoyed your piece. I don’t have a daily word count. I write when the spirit moves me & that happens a lot. For me it’s quality not quantity. But if a daily count works for you, that’s great. Sometimes I’ll write for an hour or 2 and will stop at the end of 3 hours because I’m mentally exhausted or just tapped out. But I feel accomplished. Forced writing is not a good exercise. Word count or no word count, keep writing with purpose.
